Standard end-of-winter patio call: stone surface dingy from freeze-thaw cycles, BBQ left under a half-sealed cover (so it accumulated everything), outdoor furniture cushions stored indoors but the frames sat out and oxidized. We do this reset for ~20 households every April.
What we did
Five hours, two people:
- Stone patio: low-pressure surface clean (no etching), targeted spot-treatment on the wine and grease stains by the dining table
- Gas BBQ: full deep clean, grates, burners, drip tray, exterior. Tested ignition and burner flame before leaving
- Outdoor dining set: pressure-rinse the frames, re-conditioned the aluminium with a polish, hand-dried
- Re-sanded the patio joints where the polymeric sand had thinned
What we did NOT do (worth noting)
The customer asked about pressure-washing the wood deck, we said no. Wood deck restoration needs different chemistry and a softer pressure setting; doing it as part of a patio job would have damaged the wood. We quoted the deck separately as a wood-restoration service for May.
