Three-storey detached on a corner lot, 18 windows total counting the cathedral over the front entry and two basement walk-out panes. Customer wanted it done before in-laws flew in for the holidays.
What we did
Five hours, two people. Standard interior-plus-exterior pass:
- Interior: squeegee + microfiber on every pane, tracks wiped down
- Exterior: deionized water with water-fed pole, leaves no spots, no need to dry by hand
- Cathedral pane (24-foot reach): used the long pole + safety harness, no ladder marks on the siding
- Detail-cleaned both basement walk-out panes (usually skipped, we don't skip)
December-specific notes
Cold-weather window cleaning is different from spring. We use a slightly diluted solution to prevent freezing on the panes, and we work fast on the exterior so the water doesn't sheet-freeze before squeegee. If your windows haven't been done since summer, December is fine, we work down to about -5°C.
